Fencing a New-Construction Community in McCalla
McCalla has become one of the fastest-growing communities along the I-20/59 corridor between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, and that growth shapes what fencing looks like here. Newer planned subdivisions have added hundreds of homes in recent years, and like most new construction, these homes typically move in without any fence at all — sidewalks, common areas, and HOA amenities, but no backyard enclosure. That leaves many McCalla homeowners fencing a yard for the first time, often shortly after moving in, to contain pets, create a safe space for kids, or simply mark where their property ends. Outside the planned subdivisions, McCalla still has larger, more wooded lots where boundary fencing matters more than full enclosure.

Commercial Fencing
